Approving & sending.
Once a sequence is in pending_approval status (research and generation complete), you click Approve & send on the row.
What happens on approve
- Cap check — the system atomically checks if you have approval cap remaining. If you’re at 500/500, the click returns “Cap reached — contact us for dedicated-mailbox setup” and the sequence stays pending.
- Cap consumed — your usage counter ticks +1.
- Warning fires if you crossed the 80% or 95% threshold (one-time per period — see Notifications).
- Step 1 queues — sends within minutes (subject to your daily 50-email cap).
- Steps 2–4 queue with their respective delays.
Pause, Resume, Archive
These live in the row menu (three-dot menu) on each sequence row.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Pause | Stops further sends. Already-sent emails remain. Status flips to paused. |
| Resume | Restarts sending. Pending steps fire on their original schedule (or right away if their delay has already passed). |
| Archive | Permanent. Stops all remaining sends. Sequence becomes read-only. The dashboard asks you to confirm with explicit wording: “This stops all remaining sends and cannot be undone.” |

Why pause/resume isn't on the row directly
Approving is the most common positive action — kept inline, one click. Pausing/archiving are destructive — moved to the row menu so you don’t fat-finger them.
Cap at 100% — what then?
Approval is blocked. You have three options:
- Wait for monthly rollover
- Email hello@tenloai.com to upgrade to a dedicated mailbox
- Archive sequences you don’t intend to use (doesn’t refund the cap, but reduces visual clutter)
See Pricing, caps & billing for the difference between approval cap (500/mo), import cap (750/mo), and daily send cap (50/day).
