Quick start.
Six steps, in order. The Getting Started checklist on your dashboard at app.tenloai.com/dashboard/assistant mirrors these steps and ticks them off automatically once Tenlo detects you’ve done them.
Describe in plain language who is a good fit and who isn’t. Two paragraphs is fine. Include the industries you serve, company size, geography, decision-maker profile, and — critically — your explicit disqualifiers.
In the same card, add your Qualifying questions (one per line). Examples:
- What’s your current process for X?
- How big is your team?
- What’s your timeline?
- Have you tried solutions like ours before?
ICP drives everything downstream — scoring quality, graceful exits from bad-fit visitors, even the AI’s choice of qualifying questions per visitor. Don’t skip this. See Defining your Ideal Customer for examples.
Opening greeting — the first message visitors see. Keep it warm, specific, and curious. Avoid “How can I help you?” — too open-ended.
“Hi! I’m here to help you figure out if Acme is the right fit. What brings you in today?”
Tone description — one sentence describing how the bot should sound:
“Friendly, professional, and concise.”
The AI uses this verbatim as a style guide. See Greeting, tone & qualifying questions.
Click Connect Calendly → OAuth flow → pick your event type (e.g. “30-min Discovery Call”). The bot will offer this link to qualified visitors.
In the same card, the Booking score threshold slider (range 30–90, default 60) controls how qualified a visitor must be before the bot offers them the booking link. Higher = pickier. See The booking threshold.
If you skip Calendly, the bot still qualifies leads — it just won’t offer a booking link. It will point qualified visitors to whatever next step you describe in your Products & services field. See Calendly.
Copy the <script> snippet from the Embed your widget card. The snippet contains your data-business-id and — if you changed the widget colour — your data-primary-color attribute.
Paste the snippet just before </body> on every page where you want the chat bubble. The dashboard’s Getting Started checklist has platform tabs for WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, and custom HTML.
The dashboard’s per-platform helper doesn’t include a Webflow tab — paste the snippet at Project Settings → Custom Code → Footer Code instead.
See Embedding the widget for the full per-platform table.
This step completes automatically when the first qualified visitor leaves their contact info.
To test sooner, open your site in an incognito tab, click the bubble, and have a real conversation — the lead should appear in Recent Leads within seconds.
That’s it — your Sales Assistant is live, running 24/7.
