How long after import before I can approve?

Research takes 30–60 seconds per prospect; sequence generation another 10–30s in AI mode (instant in template mode). Plan ~2 minutes per prospect end-to-end. Bulk imports of 100 prospects typically finish in 5–10 minutes. See AI research.

Can I edit the AI’s draft before sending?

Not in v1. The mature path is to set up a sequence template you trust, then use it for predictable copy. Inline draft editing is on the roadmap. See Sequence templates.

What’s the difference between “approved” and “active”?

approved means you’ve clicked the button but Step 1 hasn’t fired yet (it’s in the queue, usually for under a minute). active means at least one step has gone out and the sequence is mid-flight.

Do delays compound or stack from approval?

They cascade — Step 1 sends immediately on approval, Step 2 fires delay_days days after Step 1 was sent, Step 3 after Step 2, etc. Delays are calendar days, not business days.

What if my prospect replies after Step 2?

Steps 3 and 4 are cancelled. Sequence flips to replied_positive / replied_objection / unsubscribe based on classification. You take over. See Replies & classification.

Can I send to multiple contacts at the same company?

Yes — each is a separate prospect with their own sequence. You’ll burn 1 cap unit per contact you approve.

Will I look spammy if 5 colleagues all get the same template?

Possible if your template doesn’t reference each person’s role/personalisation hook. Use contact.title and contact.personalization_hook in your templates and they’ll read differently for each recipient even from the same template.

What if my Gmail token expires?

Sequences pause. The dashboard shows a red dot on the Email Provider card. Click Reconnect — pending sequences resume on the next worker pass.

Can I export my replies and prospects?

Email hello@tenloai.com for a CSV export. Self-serve export is on the roadmap.

How much does this cost beyond $249/mo?

Nothing for normal use. Email infrastructure, AI calls (research, generation, classification), and CRM sync are included. The dedicated-mailbox upgrade is a separate plan.

Will Tenlo train AI on my data?

No. Your prospects, replies, and templates are not used to train any models. Anthropic and OpenAI’s enterprise endpoints (which Tenlo uses) have data-retention policies that prohibit training on customer data.

Can I use Sales Outreach for transactional emails, newsletters, or customer comms?

No — this is for B2B cold outreach only. Transactional should go through your billing system; newsletters need a dedicated ESP (Mailchimp, Customer.io, etc.). Mixing the two in one mailbox is bad for deliverability anyway.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Provider tokens are nulled immediately. Your data is purged 90 days after cancellation. Deletion-on-request is available at any time — email hello@tenloai.com. Full mechanics in CASL, suppressions & data handling.

How does this differ from the Sales Assistant (P05)?

P05 qualifies visitors who came to your site. P02 starts the conversation with prospects who haven’t visited yet. The two complement each other — many teams run both.
