The booking threshold.
Settings → Sales Assistant → Widget configuration → Booking score threshold. A slider from 30 to 90, default 60.
What it controls
Every captured lead gets a 0–100 score. The bot offers a Calendly link only when it judges the lead would likely score at or above your threshold. Below threshold, the bot collects contact info but doesn’t push for a meeting.
The bot estimates this judgment in real time during the chat. A separate post-conversation scoring pass produces the official score you see in Recent Leads — that score is computed independently and may differ from the AI’s in-conversation estimate.
The threshold only gates the Calendly booking card. If you haven’t connected Calendly, moving the slider has no functional effect — the bot will still make its own “good fit” judgment and offer the next step described in your Products & services field, and the slider’s value is ignored.
Threshold guide
| Threshold | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| 30–40 | Permissive — almost every lead gets a booking offer. Use if your Calendly is empty and you want volume to build judgement. |
| 50 | Loose — most leads get offered. Catches some weak fits. |
| 60 (default) | Balanced — solid SQLs get the offer; questionable leads don’t. |
| 70 | Strict — only clearly-qualified leads. Better quality, fewer bookings. |
| 80–90 | Very strict — only no-doubt fits. Use if your team’s calendar is precious. |
Status labels are independent of the threshold
The Recent Leads card tags each lead with a status badge — 🔥 Hot for scores ≥ 80, ✅ Good fit for ≥ 60, 📋 Low fit for < 60. These cut-offs are hard-coded; they don’t move with your slider.
So if you set the threshold to 80, leads scoring 65 will still be labeled ✅ Good fit in the dashboard but won’t receive a booking offer. The threshold tunes booking offers; the dashboard tags reflect raw qualification quality.
Tuning advice
Start at 60. After 10–20 leads, look at the scores in Recent Leads:
- If most of your good-fit leads scored 50–65, drop the threshold to 55.
- If borderline leads are scoring 70+ and getting unwanted offers, raise to 65.
Threshold and ICP work together
ICP = who counts as a good fit. Threshold = how strict the bot is when calling someone “qualified.”
A clear ICP makes the threshold work better. Don’t try to tune the threshold without first writing a real ICP — see Defining your Ideal Customer.
